Today the brazilian singer “Ceu” came out with a new album.  LOVING IT.

we don’t get cable so i have no idea if this has been on television, but i found it and thought it was cute

inching my way to work

This morning I was running a little late for work.  We bought an air hockey table last night and were up til 1am setting it up, returning our friends truck, etc…  At 1.45 I was almost asleep, when with a start, I woke up and said “Did I give Donny his key?”  Lynette said that she didn’t know, so rather than going to sleep, I thought I’d better check my pants pockets.  Sure enough.. There was his key.  I got dressed again and drove over to his house and gave him his key.  (luckily he was still awake)

Anyway, because of all of this, it was more difficult for me to get out of bed this morning, and therefore I was running a couple of minutes later than what I generally like to be.  Lynette handed me my morning toast, and off I went.  After I ate my toast, I looked in the mirror to see if there were any crumbs in my beard.  There were no crumbs, but there was a neon green piece of thread, which I thought was odd.  Then the piece of thread starting moving.

Before I could think clearly about the situation, I grabbed the thread, and threw it towards the dashboard.  It was then that I realized, I had an inch worm as a passenger.  Inch worms are BY FAR my favorite bug.  I remember sitting at the base of the maple tree in our backyard as a child and watching inch worms walk around my hand.  They’re so gentile and I love the way they move in a fluid wave motion.  Anyway, I watched him because I was afraid I had killed him, but he righted himself and spent the rest of the drive walking back and forth across my dashboard.

Once I got to work, I took him in my hand and dropped him off on a bush that best matched his color.  Ya ya.. Say what you will.. I think nice bugs should be preserved =)

When I dropped the little guy on the bush, he really looked like he recognized foliage and he did a little wiggle and embraced the leaf.

Grizzly Man

We just got done watching the movie “Grizzly Man”

Kind of a weird movie, but the end song was cool.

the greatest wife in the world

we’re enjoying a rainy weekend here which translates into watching movies, drinking coffee and relaxing.  Lynette went up to heat some lunch for us and i followed a minute later to refill my coffee mug.  As i came up the stairs, i heard Lynette whistling a familiar tune.. i knew it well, but i couldn’t place it for a second.

she was whistling “Cool and Green and Shady”.. one of my all time favorites.  It was one of those moments in marriage where you just thank God for giving you someone so fantastic.

Rambo 4

we just got done watching “Rambo” which is the name of the 4th Rambo.  Let me preface this by saying that if i added any 3 violent movies together, they could never add up to the outstanding bloodshed in this movie. (and i’m talking Braveheart, Patriot, 300, ANY MOVIES you want to add up!)

that being said, WHAT A GUY FLICK!  Ya, i know.. “how horrible” but if you ever want to see a film that went through at least 3 tankers of stage blood.. “Rambo” should be top on your list!

Seriously, watch this whole video.. it’s just amazing.
